During the GreenMed Symposium, held in Naples on 29 and 30 May 2025, the professionals of AmbientaLexcontributed to discussions on some of the most dynamic issues in environmental law and policy.
Avv. Andrea Farì analysed the regulatory framework concerning the abandonment of cigarette butts and the role of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in preventing littering.
Avv. Omar Hagi Kassim and Avv. Luigi Conti focused on the evolution of the Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM) and the application of Green Public Procurement (GPP) in the waste sector, highlighting legal uncertainties and implementation challenges for public authorities and operators.
In a separate contribution, Avv. Kassim explored the regulatory framework applying to Renewable Energy Communities (CER), outlining the main legal issues related to authorisation procedures, governance models and allocation of benefits among participants.
