Massimo is Associate Professor of Administrative Law (with National Scientific Qualification to Full Profession) at the University of Salento.<\/p>

He graduated with honours in Law from the LUISS \u201cGuido Carli\u201d University of Rome and holds a PhD in \u201cEconomic and Market Law\u201d from the ISUFI Advanced School \u2013 University of Lecce. He has been registered with the Bar Association since 2004 and in the Special Register of the Bar admitted to practise before the Supreme Court and other Higher Jurisdictions since 2018.<\/p>

He has carried out (in the position of university professor on a fixed-term basis) professional consultancy, legal support and defence in court for leading public and private organisations and companies in the fields of administrative, public and economic law, and, in particular, in the following sectors: environment and landscape; antitrust; public contracts and services; public companies.<\/p>

Since December 2018 he has been Of Counsel at the Ambientalex law firm and since January 2020 he has been an Associate of the same firm.<\/p>

He is the author of numerous monographs, international editorials, chapters in manuals, essays in collective volumes and articles in legal journals in the fields of administrative and environmental law, with Italian, foreign and international publishing houses, in Italian and foreign languages (English, French, Spanish).<\/p>

He is the Director of the \u201cLegal Issues in Transdisciplinary Environmental Studies\u201d (LITES) international series, published by Springer Nature; Deputy Director of the \u201cQuadrimestrale di Diritto dell\u2019Ambiente\u201d (RQDA) journal, published by Editoriale Scientifica (Band A); member of the Management Committee of the \u201cP.A. Persona e Amministrazione. Ricerche giuridiche sull\u2019amministrazione e l\u2019economia\u201d journal, published by the University of Urbino (Band A); member of the Scientific Committee of numerous Italian and foreign journals; member of the Executive Committee of the \u201cObservatorio Internacional da Regulaci\u00f3n das Entidades do Sector P\u00fablico\u201d (OIRESP); National Focal Point for Italy of the \u201cCentre International de Droit Compar\u00e9 de l\u2019Environnement – International Centre of Comparative Environmental Law\u201d (CIDCE); Founding Member of the \u201cItalian Association for Sustainability Science\u201d (IASS); member of the research team of the \u201cNational Biodiversity Future Center\u201d (NBFC).<\/p>

He has acted as coordinator or member of national and international research groups, units and projects in the fields of environmental, administrative, European and economic law, and has been organiser or guest speaker at numerous international and national conferences.<\/p>

From 2006 to date, he has been a full professor of the following courses at the University of Salento: \u2018Administrative Law\u2019, \u2018Administrative Law II\u2019, \u2018Landscape and Environmental Law\u2019, \u2018Administrative Environmental Law\u2019, \u2018Advanced Administrative Law\u2019, \u2018Public Contract Law\u2019, \u2018Administrative Environmental and Food Law\u2019, \u2018Sustainable Development Law\u2019, \u2018Administrative Environmental and Energy Law\u2019. He has also held teaching and seminar activities at numerous Italian and foreign universities.<\/p>

He is the Director of the second level master\u2019s degree in \u201cPublic Administration: Principles and Rules, Tools and Techniques\u201d (APPREST) at the University of Salento.<\/p>

He speaks Italian, French and English.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
