Article 14-bis of Decree-Law 131/2024 (“Urgent Provisions for the Implementation of Obligations Arising from European Union Acts and Pending Infringement and Pre-Infringement Procedures against the Italian State”), converted, with amendments, by Law No. 166/2024, replaced Article 11 of Legislative Decree No. 49/2014 (“Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)”), which regulates the systems for the collection and management of WEEE under the “One-to-One” and “One-to-Zero” models.
The amendment has fully modified the regulations on the “One-to-One” and “One-to-Zero” systems (with the simultaneous repeal of Ministerial Decrees No. 65/2010 and No. 121/2016) and further simplified them, transferring them – from a systematic perspective – within Legislative Decree No. 49/2014, the legal framework for WEEE management.
