Senior Associate at the law firm Ambientalex, Maria Valeria has developed her expertise primarily in the fields of waste management and contaminated site remediation.

After completing her university studies, she successfully obtained a Master’s degree in Environmental Law at Roma Tre University, following which she was selected for an internship at the Legislative Office of the Ministry of the Environment.

In 2013, she began her professional collaboration with the law firm Ambientalex, further expanding her expertise through significant specialized experience.

From 2016 to 2025, she provided specialized technical assistance to Sogesid S.p.A. at the Ministry of the Environment on a wide range of issues related to environmental damage and contaminated site remediation.

The study and application of remediation regulations from the perspective of public administration, together with her experience in administrative procedures, have represented an important element of her professional growth, fostering a pragmatic and multidisciplinary approach to the subject. Her consulting activities for consortia and industry operators, as well as within the state environmental administration, have enabled Maria Valeria to develop a comprehensive and cross-cutting understanding of environmental issues.

Maria Valeria focuses on in-depth analysis of the most current environmental topics, on which she also lectures at universities, master’s programs, and training courses. She is the author of publications in specialized environmental law journals.
