Senior Associate at Ambientalex Law Firm, he has developed significant academic experience as a collaborator with the chairs of Environmental Law and Administrative Law at Roma Tre University and LUMSA University. He obtained a Ph.D. in Administrative Law from Roma Tre University. As part of his academic career, he also carried out a research period at the University of Cambridge, where he developed a comparative study of administrative law and environmental law.

He is the author of several legal publications in the fields of environmental and administrative law, and teaches at universities, postgraduate master’s programmes and private courses. He has also delivered specialised courses on environmental assessment procedures for the Lombardy Region and the Liguria Region.

He is Managing Editor of the Rivista Quadrimestrale di diritto dell’Ambiente (RQDA).

He provides specialist legal advice to public-sector bodies. For five years, through Sogesid S.p.A., he worked as Senior Consultant to the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security on environmental assessment matters.

He is currently a Legal Expert with a Project Manager profile for the Emilia-Romagna Region, within a project for the implementation of the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan). In this role, he deals with a broad range of administrative and environmental law matters, including compliance with the DNSH principle and Green Public Procurement (GPP). Within the same project, he also coordinated the interdisciplinary expert group “Environmental, Renewable Energy and Construction”.
